Summer Associates undergo an intense three-to-four-day training and orientation session led by the same expert professional instructors and inspiring J.P. Morgan professionals who train full-time Associates.

During training, you will learn about J.P. Morgan as a global organization with the breadth of products and depth of knowledge to provide clients with innovative solutions. You will hear about our history as the bank that built corporate America. You'll discover the many ways we continue to help our clients solve problems and seize opportunities. And, of course, you will also gain some of the technical knowledge you need to succeed as a Summer Associate with the help of business-specific training and designated tutors selected from full-time colleagues to guide you.

Of course, that’s just the beginning. Over the course of your ten-week internship, you also will learn a great deal from your colleagues and teammates and from hands-on experience working on the desk. We also provide extra opportunities for enrichment from lunch-and-learn sessions and speaker series. You will be invited to private dinners and networking sessions where you'll meet people from all parts of the firm - and where you can meet senior colleagues and continue building your own professional network.

Every Summer Associate is matched to a senior and junior mentor, who will be available to answer your questions, address your concerns and give you feedback throughout your experience with us.
