Employee giving

J.P. Morgan employees worldwide give back to the communities where they live and work, contributing time, talent and financial resources to non-profit organizations of their choice.

J.P. Morgan encourages employee giving though:

  • Generous matching gift and volunteer grant programs to help support non-profit organizations employees are committed to
  • Team IB, a program designed to support and celebrate volunteer efforts of Investment Bank employees. The program gives employees the resources and support they need to engage their colleagues in the  issues they care about individually
  • Innovative philanthropic and community initiatives like our partnership with Teach For America and the Good Venture initiatives: Case Competition and Give-It-Away campaign
  • Workplace campaigns in the United States to increase participation in blood drives and bone marrow registries, to encourage donations to the United Negro College Fund, and a workplace giving campaign to support a broad range of causes and organizations
  • Mentoring programs in the US and the UK that enable employees to take an active role in the educational growth and development of hundreds of young people
Team IB projects

Since its launch in 2006, team IB, our Investment Banking led volunteer program, raised $1.8 million, engaged 3,000 volunteers worldwide and sponsored more than 30 projects that have helped communities around the world.  Efforts have included:

  • Funded a clinic in Accra, Ghana
  • Backpack drive for school supplies for underprivileged children in NYC
  • Fundraiser for a safe house for children in Colombia
  • Donated and assembled 500 care packages for troops serving abroad
  • Ran for clean water and other environmental efforts in Valle de Bravo, Mexico
  • A Mother's Day giving campaign for homeless and disadvantaged women

We are extremely proud of our thousands of employees who demonstrate their individual leadership in driving positive change within their communities through volunteer service and philanthropic giving.
